About the game
Tap Match
Tap Match is a puzzle of cards stacked in layers. You can only take the uncovered ones on top, make sets of three and clear the table. There are 520 levels across 13 chapters, with fruit, vegetables, sweets and other pictures that change from chapter to chapter.
Powers arrive as you progress: Back undoes the last card you took, Solve pulls in the cards missing from a set, even covered ones, and Shuffle swaps the pictures on the table. The difficulty decides which ones you get: Easy has all three, Medium two and Hard only Back.
How to play
- Tap to collect cards. Complete sets of 3 to clear cards.
- You can hold up to 7 cards in your stack, so collect strategically.
On the keyboardArrow keys pick a free card, Enter or Space take it, Z or Backspace use Back, H uses Solve and S uses Shuffle.
Tips to play better
- 1Before tapping, look at what's underneath. Go for cards that free up layers with pictures you already have in your bar.
- 2Avoid holding many different pictures in the bar at once. With four or five loose types, one bad pick can fill all 7 slots.
- 3Take a card when you know where the other two matching ones are, or when they're about to become free.
- 4Keep Solve for emergencies: with the bar nearly full, it finishes the set you have most of and frees up space instantly.

Frequently asked questions
When do the powers unlock?
Back unlocks at level 5, Solve at 9 and Shuffle at 12. Every level starts with at least one use of each power your difficulty allows.
Can every level be solved?
Yes. The pictures are drawn at random each game, but always so that there's an order of moves that never fills the bar.
