Ludo
Ludo is part race, part luck and part mischief: every player tries to bring their tokens from the base to the center before the others, knocking out anyone in the way. The die decides how far, but choosing which token to move makes all the difference.
Play against 1 to 3 bots on three levels, or against a friend on the same device, Red versus Blue. The rules menu lets you win with 4 tokens or just 1, turn on automatic rolling and, against the bots, get a re-roll when the number is no help.
How to play
- Race one token from start to finish according to the rolls of a die. The first player to get all tokens to the end wins the game.
- Roll a six to move a token out of the starting area. Capture opponents' tokens by landing on the same space.
On the keyboardSpace or Enter rolls the die; arrows pick a piece and Enter moves it; keys 1 to 4 move a piece; R re-rolls.
Tips to play better
- 1Each color's starting square is a safe square: nobody can be captured there. Use those stops to wait for a better roll.
- 2Avoid stopping just ahead of an opponent's token. Within 6 squares, you are an easy target for its next roll.
- 3A capture earns you another roll. When you have the choice, taking a token is usually worth more than moving a few squares further.
- 4Rolled a 6? Think before bringing out a new token. Sometimes the 6 is better spent escaping a chaser or reaching home. Three 6s in a row lose the turn.

Frequently asked questions
Can I play Ludo with a friend?
Yes. Choose the friend mode and take turns on the same device, Red against Blue. Against bots, pick 1 to 3 opponents in the rules menu.
Is there a way to play shorter games?
Yes. In the rules you can switch the win condition to 1 token home instead of 4, and turn on automatic rolling so the die rolls itself on your turn.
